Over the past several years the City of Danville, under its Buildings Blocks initiative, has invested in the stabilization of the Broad Street neighborhood near Cleveland.  Open for inspection is a one-story, L-shaped gabled cottage at 218 Broad - one of three in a row built from a nearly identical plan, all dating from the turn of the 20th century.  Down the street, another such property open as well is a two-story I-house dating from the 1890s.  Both houses are available for sale - continuing a program to market the half-dozen or so dwellings, renovated or newly-constructed, completed by the City so far.
